On arriving in Robe follow the Main Road into town. Travel along Victoria St. to the Caledonian Inn, turn left into Davenport St. The units are on the left after the second cross road.

Robe is a small fishing and tourism town on Guichen Bay in the South East of South Australia. It was founded in 1846 and became one of the main ports in S.A. in the 1860’s.

Many of the old buildings erected in the early days remain giving the town character and charm. Robe offers coastal trails, national parks, wineries and beautiful beaches for walking, swimming and surfing.

Robe today has a thriving cray fishing industry ( season October to April ) and a rapidly developing viticulture and aquaculture industry.

Robe is ideal as a central base to take in the many beautiful attractions of the Limestone Coast.

The local wineries are now well established throughout the Cape Jaffa, Mt Benson and Robe districts.

Visit the historic town of Penola and the famous Coonawarra wineries. 

Naracoorte is famous for its caves, museum and Snake Pit, and near by is the world class Bool Lagoon.

Mount Gambier is famous for it’s Blue Lake, numerous caves, and Lady Nelson Park, a top class tourist and information centre.
